Lowell National Historical Park commemorates the area's rich industrial history, with particular emphasis on the evolution of its 19th-century textile trade. Visitors have an array of options and tours to choose from, including Lowell's historic mill, its scenic cemetery, and the Boott Cotton Mills Museum. The park resides just beneath the Eastern Canal, near North Commons.
